Meet the Therapist
Hi, I am Octavia Torres, I am a mommy to 3 beautiful children. A bonus mom to 2 girls and a new baby boy. I have a passion to work with prenatal, postpartum, and all mothers. I enjoy working with children and helping them cope with stressful life experiences. I strive to understand individual and family needs including stressors and experiences which influence functioning, reactions, emotions, and behavior.

- Education: MSW SIUC 2021, Trauma Based Behavioral Health Fellowship through the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
Trainings: EMDR, TFCBT, MAP, and YTT

Where: I am currently providing services via telehealth and community-based treatment and plan to expand by February 2026 into a building to be in person.
Who: Women, Mothers, Prenatal, Postpartum, and children 0 to 18
What Kind: My clinical focus is to empower and encourage perseverance through empathy, support, and guidance. Guidance is value focused and centered around trauma-informed interventions such as EMDR, TFCBT, MBCT, and MAP.
Optional Specialty Service: A unique service collaborating creative arts EMDR, with restorative yoga (pelvic floor centered), and mindfulness practices.
